Farm Stock Scotland will once again be attending the world-famous Kelso Ram Sales, one of the largest and most important fixtures in the UK sheep industry calendar.
The sales bring together thousands of farmers, breeders and commercial sheep producers from across Scotland and further afield. They provide an excellent opportunity to see some of the country’s leading breeding stock, discuss the season ahead and catch up with friends and colleagues from throughout the livestock industry.
Farmer members are warmly invited to call at the Farm Stock Scotland stand to meet the team and enjoy some refreshments. Anyone who is not currently a member but would like to learn more about the co-operative and the services it provides will also be made very welcome.
Visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to enter a free competition to win a Scotch sirloin—another good reason to call in and see the team.
Farm Stock Scotland is farmer-owned and independent, marketing prime lambs, hoggs, cull ewes, prime cattle and cull cows to a wide range of processors. The co-operative also operates an expanding farm-to-farm trading service for store and breeding sheep and cattle.

“The Kelso Ram Sales are one of the great dates in the UK farming calendar and an important meeting place for the Scottish sheep industry. We are very much looking forward to catching up with our members and speaking to other farmers who may be interested in finding out more about Farm Stock Scotland.
“Whether you already market livestock through us, would like to discuss the options available, want to enter our competition to win a Scotch sirloin or simply fancy a catch-up over a cup of tea or a beer, please come along and see us.”
Refreshments will be available on the stand throughout the day.
