Dear Scott Country Lamb Members,
I am sure you will be now aware that Vicky Warcup, after 12 successful years with Farm Stock (Scotland) Limited has decided to move on to spend more time with her young family. I want to place on record, our thanks and appreciation to Vicky for her time with the business. We totally understand her reasons for leaving and we all wish her, Dave, Milly and Isabel all the very best for the future. I am pleased to say that she that she has agreed to help with the transition and handover until June.
The Farm Stock Board have just completed a review of the staff structure and are delighted that going forward, if you are already dealing with Nikki Gilbertson, or Lucy Bell while Vicky has been off on maternity leave, it will very much business as usual. I have been delighted with the passion and hard work that both Nikki and Lucy have shown in the last year, coupled with their excellent livestock skills. Rest assured, should it be needed, they will be backed up by the knowledge and experience of the rest of the Farm Stock Fieldsman and Office team.

Each and every one of Farm Stock’s member customers are extremely important and valued, and we remain committed to working in the best interests of our farmer members to achieve the highest possible level of service and financial net returns.
At a time of record prices for livestock, Farm Stock (Scotland) Limited is having a very successful year, with Livestock Units marketed through the co-operative up 4% on last year (on top of 2% growth in 2023) which is very pleasing given the national declines in both cattle and sheep numbers.
